The goal is to eventually have a database full of ideas, pictures and drawings, searchable by keywords. It would really be nice to always have drawings or images, if possible. All entries will be entered by you and other users (upon approval by someone so the content is useful and friendly.) This is not a forum. It is not a place to discuss things or air grievances. However, if you think an entry is in error or can be helped with additional information, that is what this database is for. This is also not a place to discuss new retail goodies or electronics. There are plenty of places for that. So... the first entries are mine and maybe that will give you an idea of things to submit. Questions like "How do I... " are also welcomed, but only if they can be answered by something which will add value to the database. Examples of submissions Keywords Image Request Description Ferro Deck Cabin The cabin top to deck bond on both my ferro boats were done according to the books, but left much to be desired because the wood eventually rotted and water leaked in causing further damage. So my answer was to build a cement "dam" about 30mm high, around the deck, on top of which I built the cabin. Now there is no way water can get under the wood or into the cabin sides. It is too bad the initial construction didn't include a cement rail below the cabin.
