Cynthia Oti, from Herb's point of view
Cynthia
I knew Cindy from high school. I fell in love with her in my second year of college. I never stopped loving her after that. We were different people back then, but shared so many close times. For over 30 years I stayed in touch with her. Sometimes close, sometimes apart. Always waiting for her to settle down a bit. To have been her partner for the last 4 years of her life was a bittersweet dream come true. I remember talking on the phone with her from Houston and planing my next visit. We were thinking of buying a house in Carmel. I thought to myself, I've been blessed beyond my dreams.
I still feel I was blessed to have had those times with her.
We had many a candle light dinner in San Fran. But I must admit, the majority were take-aways from the local Indian restaurant!
We really didn't do much cooking. But we did a lot of enjoying.
Not a day went by where I didn't think of her at least every hour.
One of her favorite spots, the Sonoma Mission Inn. I would play tennis
and she would do the all day massage thing.
We would stay a weekend, but I know she would have been happy to simply move in and stay
for a year.
She loved it.
And always fine meals and chanpaign in the evenings.

I have some shots of Myst, but I need to pull them off some of the videos I have. Cindy loved all her 'kids'.
But she love Jackie most of all. Unfortunately, Sharon has some
emotional problems and will not let anyone get in touch with Jackie. Actually put up legal
blocks. Sharon was the opposite of Cynthia. The opposite side of the coin. Cynthia was an
intelligent, thoughtful, kind and caring.
Cynthia was a class act.
Would love to contact Jackie. Any leads, please let me know.
As we drove to Carmel, she would play the stereo with the top down, and the AC on if it were hot, and occasionally look over at me and say "Weeee !!!" Her eyes would sparkel and she would give me a huge smile!
As much as she didn't like me taking this picture, it is one of my
favorites.
To be under the glare of Cynthia in 'business mode' would always get your attention.
(But you should have seen her smile just after this was taken!)
Cynthia loved her friends. She was extremely selective and her selections were never less than the best.

I will love you always
I will miss you dearly
